Hip Replacement Surgery

On July 23, 2024, a right hip joint replacement surgery was performed on our 52-year-old patient Mr. Tihomir Hristov.

Our patient shared with us that for several years he had been experiencing complaints such as severe pain and limited mobility in the hip joint area. The treatment process of Mr. Hristov was managed and led by Dr. Levent TAN – Specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology with many years of experience in the field of hip and knee joint endoprosthetics. After a thorough physical examination and medical investigations, it was determined that the patient suffered from an advanced stage of coxarthrosis, which had led to significant wear of the joint. Based on the established current condition of the patient, a surgical intervention for total right hip joint replacement was recommended. The operation was completed successfully, with the severely damaged joint carefully removed and replaced with a high-quality artificial joint prosthesis.

Upon his discharge on July 29, 2024, Mr. Hristov expressed his gratitude to Dr. Levent TAN and the entire medical team of Corlu Vatan Hospital for their professionalism and the care provided.
