Laparoscopic Treatment of Kidney Cysts

Our Urology Specialist Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Murat Rifaioglu successfully performed a laparoscopic surgery for the removal of renal cysts present in the right kidney.

Our 67-year-old patient came to us with complaints such as a burning sensation during urination and frequent nighttime urination. After a thorough physical examination and analysis of the results from the performed laboratory and radiological investigations, the presence of several cysts in the right kidney was confirmed, one of which had reached significant dimensions of approximately 90x75 mm. The patient was offered a surgical intervention for the removal of the existing renal cysts. The patient accepted the proposed laparoscopic procedure and successfully underwent it. The operation proceeded without complications, using a closed method, and all cysts in his right kidney were successfully removed.

Two days after the operation, our patient was discharged from the hospital in good general condition. Upon his discharge, he expressed his gratitude to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Murat Rifaioglu, who performed the operation, and his gratitude to the experienced staff who ensured quality healthcare for the patient.

The entire team of our hospital wishes our patient a long life filled with health and happiness.
