Traumatic injuries such as traffic accidents, sports injuries and occupational accidents are very common occurrences and happen unexpectedly. The injuries can range from simple soft tissue injuries to very serious fractures that can even cause organ loss. For this reason, an initial examination and intervention should be performed by an orthopedic specialist.
Minimally invasive surgical interventions are preferred in the treatment of fractures.
For this purpose, all necessary equipment has been provided in our new building, including a C-arm fluoroscopy device, radiolucent operating table, traction table, surgical motor and 2 high-resolution endoscopic imaging systems. All surgical procedures are performed with the help of these high-technology devices.
In our hospital, arthroscopic (closed) knee surgeries, arthroscopic anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, repair and grafting operations for multiple ligament injuries, posterior cruciate ligament, meniscectomy and meniscus repair, microfracture and mosaicplasty are widely performed. Also, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatment is routinely applied for cartilage diseases, where plasma is extracted from the patient's own blood and injected into their joints.
Arthroscopic shoulder surgeries, closed rotator cuff tear repair, closed surgical treatment of shoulder impingement syndrome, closed surgical treatment of frozen shoulder syndrome, and closed Bankart operations for recurrent shoulder dislocations are successfully performed in our hospital.
Advanced arthritis of the knee and hip joints is treated with total knee and hip joint prostheses.
The prostheses we use are made from the highest quality and most preferred materials in the world, having proven their success over the years.
To reduce postoperative pain, PCA (Patient-Controlled Analgesia) is applied; the following day, physical therapy with CPM (Continuous Passive Motion) begins in bed, and on the third day the patient starts walking with a walker.
In our hospital, robotic knee surgeries are performed, which have recently begun to be applied worldwide and in our country.
Treatment of foot and ankle injuries, ligament injuries, joint fractures and cartilage problems, as well as hallux valgus and toe calcification surgeries and treatments are performed.
In our orthopedic clinic, treatment with serial casting - non-operative Ponseti method for congenital hip dysplasia and congenital clubfoot (PEV) is performed. Pediatric fractures are specially monitored and treated.
Endoscopic (closed) and open surgery of carpal tunnel syndrome, surgical intervention for trigger finger in children and adults, DeQuervain tenosynovitis surgery, Dupuytren surgery, non-surgical intervention for tennis elbow (local injection and PRP) and surgical treatment, treatment of hand, finger, wrist fractures, finger tendon and nerve repair.
Surgical treatment of hip fractures due to falls in elderly patients is performed as bipolar prosthetic operations or as closed treatment. The following day, patients are mobilized on their feet.
