  • OUTPATIENT INFORMATION GUIDE

    Dear patients and visitors,

    The informative guide described below has been prepared to inform you and assist you from the beginning to the end of your visit to the hospital.

    During your stay at the hospital, you can share your wishes, recommendations, and opinions with our representatives from the "Patient Rights" department. We wish you a pleasant day.

    • The hospital operates on an appointment-based system. You can schedule an appointment for consultation through our 24-hour call center at +90 282 673 7373; international patients phone: 0090 549 548 55 21 or through our website corluvatan.com.
    • Our hospital provides outpatient services between 08:30-17:30 on weekdays and between 08:30-14:00 on Saturdays. Our emergency department provides healthcare services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with an emergency physician to respond to all your health needs on time.
    • Initial registration at the hospital polyclinics is done at the registration-cashier department. The cashier for each polyclinic is located on the same floor as the polyclinic. During registration, you must provide the officer with your ID card (patients with Turkish citizenship) or passport (patients with foreign citizenship) for patient registration.
    • In our healthcare facility polyclinics, priority is given to emergency patients, people with disabilities, pregnant women, patients over 65 years of age, children under 7 years of age, spouses and children of veterans and heroes of the Republic of Turkey.
    • The information confidentiality procedure is applied at our hospital for patients who wish their names to be hidden during treatment. If you notify your attending physician or the cashier during registration in advance, the necessary actions will be taken in accordance with the procedure.
    • During your registration, you will be given a barcode for your examination, which shows the examination time and waiting time. Please be punctual regarding your scheduled appointment. Be at the hospital 15 minutes before your scheduled time and complete your registration.
    • Scheduled appointments may be extended depending on emergency cases or the special condition of another patient in the doctor's office. In such cases, the polyclinic assistant will provide you with the necessary information.
    • In order to respect patient privacy and confidentiality, our secretaries do not attend during the examination. Our secretaries can accompany you at your request and confirmation during your examination.
    • After your examination, the doctor will enter the necessary laboratory and radiological tests into the system. The laboratory and radiology department are located on Floor -1.

  • INTENSIVE CARE UNIT VISITOR GUIDE

    Dear relatives of patients undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit, your loved ones are of great importance to us.

    • Every patient in the intensive care unit requires special care. To avoid creating conditions that could endanger the patient's health, we expect you to strictly follow the precautionary measures we have taken.
    • Visiting patients treated in the Intensive Care Unit takes place every day between 11:00-12:00. Visiting hours may be changed by the intensive care physician depending on the patient's condition.
    • Intensive care units are located on floors -1 and -2 of our hospital. You can find out from the information desk which intensive care unit your loved one is in.
    • Due to the special condition of patients undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit, only first-degree relatives (mother, father, spouse, sibling) are admitted with permission from the ICU doctor and according to the hours set by the hospital administration. Children are not allowed in the unit.
    • Every day from 11:00 to 12:00 in the information room on floor -2, the doctor responsible for the Intensive Care Unit provides information about the patient's condition.
    • For the protection of personal privacy, no information about the patient's condition is given to persons who are not legal relatives. After providing the necessary information, only one relative is allowed to see the patient. Other relatives observe through a camera placed in the information room. On weekends and public holidays, only one relative is allowed for visitation; the camera is not shown.
    • When entering the Intensive Care Unit to visit the patient, visitors MUST put on the protective gown, surgical cap, mask, and shoe covers located at the entrance. Hands must also be disinfected.
    • You can visit the patient in the Intensive Care Unit for 5 minutes under the supervision of a nurse. In some emergency cases, you may need to leave the intensive care unit earlier.
    • You can get information about the patient's needs from the nurse responsible for the ICU and the patient's nurse. For medical condition information, consult the attending physician.
    • There is no need for patient relatives to wait constantly at the hospital. In case of need or emergency, they will be informed by phone. Do not wait at the entrance of the ICU before and after patient visits.
    • For the sake of patients' health, do not show your emotions (crying, shouting, etc.) during visits. Do not speak loudly. If the patient is conscious, do not allow them to talk on the phone. Do not take photos of the patient in the ICU with your phone, do not touch the patient, and do not sit on their bed.
    • After each visit, wash your hands, remove protective gowns and accessories, throw them in the trash at the exit, and clean your hands with hand sanitizer.
    • Food, drinks, etc. cannot be brought into the intensive care unit.
    • Thank you for your cooperation in observing the precautionary measures we have taken for your own and the patient's health.
  • NEONATAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT GUIDE

    Dear patient relatives,

    • Your loved ones are our patients and are of great importance to us. Every patient in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit requires special care. To avoid creating conditions that could endanger the patients' health, we expect you to strictly follow the precautionary measures we have taken.
    • Visits to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit take place every day from 13:00 to 14:00 and from 20:00 to 21:00. You can visit your patient in the Intensive Care Unit for 5-10 minutes in the presence of a nurse. Only in emergency cases may you need to leave earlier.
    • If the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is not available that day, visiting hours may change.
    • For patients under observation in the Neonatal ICU, the attending physician informs parents about the baby's condition every day from 13:00 to 14:00 in the ICU waiting area or in the office.
    • You can get information about the patients' needs from the department nurse, and information about the medical condition from the doctor.
    • Due to the special condition of patients in the Intensive Care Unit, only MOTHER and FATHER are admitted, with permission from the ICU doctor and according to the hours set by the hospital administration. Children are not allowed.
    • Visits are not allowed by people with fever, cold, cough, vomiting, or infectious dermatitis.
    • There is no need for patient relatives to wait constantly at the hospital. In case of need or emergency, they will be informed by phone.
    • Do not wait at the entrance of the intensive care unit before and after patient visits.
    • You can visit the patient accompanied by a nurse. When entering, please put on a protective gown, surgical cap, mask, and shoe covers. Wash your hands or disinfect them.
    • Your phone sound must be turned off during your visit.
    • You are allowed to photograph your baby (without flash). However, photographing the Intensive Care Unit is not allowed.
    • Do not touch the incubators to avoid the risk of infection. During visits, do not speak loudly.
    • After each visit, wash your hands, remove protective gowns and accessories, throw them in the trash at the exit, and clean your hands with hand sanitizer.
    • Thank you for your cooperation in observing the precautionary measures we have taken for your own and the patient's health.
  • INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR COMPANION
    • During your stay at the hospital, please follow the rules to maintain a quiet and peaceful environment.
    • Companions must wear the companion card that will be given to them during their stay.
    • Smoking is prohibited in the hospital.
    • Please have only one companion with the patient.
    • For the patient's safety, please follow the instructions provided by the doctor and nurse.
    • The sofas in the rooms are convertible and can be used as beds by the companion.
    • For the convenience and safety of patients and companions, you can get information about room facilities through the "Room Orientation Cards".
    • Our hospital has central heating and cooling systems installed. You can adjust the temperature from the thermostat on the left or right side of the door, depending on the room layout.
    • When you want to take a bath, you can ask the floor nurse for a bath towel and hair dryer.
    • You can direct your suggestions, thanks, and complaints to the "Patient Rights" department and through the satisfaction survey cards found in the rooms and on our website.
  • INFORMATION FOR PATIENT VISITORS
    • Visits in the clinics are allowed from 09:00 to 23:00.
    • In the Adult Intensive Care Unit from 11:00 to 12:00 (information and visiting time).
    • Depending on the situation in the intensive care unit, visiting hours may change or visits may be cancelled.
    • In the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, only the mother and father are allowed for visits, upon ID verification, twice a day from 13:00 to 14:00 and from 20:00 to 21:00.
    • Who receives information about the patient's health?
      • If the patient is an adult and conscious, information is given to the patient or to a first-degree relative they designate;
      • If the patient is unconscious, information is provided to a first-degree relative;
      • If the patient is a child, information is given to the parents;
      • No information about the patient's condition is given to third parties;
    • Which patients should not be visited?
        • Patients being treated in the intensive care unit;
        • Patients with infectious diseases;
        • Patients with compromised immune systems (cancer patients undergoing treatment, organ transplant patients, patients on steroid treatment);
        • Patients whose doctor has not recommended visits (information about these patients can be obtained from the doctor);
    • Who should not visit patients?
        • Children under 16 years of age;
        • Persons with fever, cough, or infectious disease;
        • Persons with chronic illness;
        • Persons with compromised immune systems;
    • What should be observed during patient visits?
        • Patient visits should be made during the designated hours;
        • Visits should be brief, no more than 10 minutes;
        • There should be a maximum of two visitors per patient;
        • Visitors should not sit on the patients' beds during visits;
    • If you notice a sign indicating Isolation Information in the patient's room before visiting, be sure to consult with the nurse.
    • For these patients, visits may need to be restricted or precautions taken before visiting.
    • Nothing in the patient's room should be touched.
    • Medical materials such as IV sets and oxygen gauges should not be touched.
    • Visitors must disinfect or wash their hands with soap.
    • Speaking loudly near the patient is not allowed.
    • Other patients should not be disturbed during visits.
    • Patients' right to personal space must be respected.
    • The use of emergency exits and stairs by patients, companions, and visitors is prohibited when there is no emergency.
    • Persons who have consumed alcohol are not allowed to enter the hospital. Alcohol consumption in the hospital is prohibited.
    • If persons who have consumed alcohol are noticed, the "Security Department" should be notified.
    • Do not insist on visiting outside the designated hours.
    • Visiting hours and rules for Intensive Care Units may vary according to the requirements of the specific ICU. Such information is provided to patient relatives at the entrance of the Intensive Care Unit.
    • PATIENTS WITH VISIT RESTRICTIONS

    A sign reading "Visits Prohibited" is placed on the door of patients who should not be visited at their own request or for medical reasons. This situation should be explained tactfully to visitors.

  • HOSPITAL WORKING HOURS

    Corlu VATAN Private Hospital provides outpatient services on weekdays from 09:00 to 18:00 and from 09:00 to 14:00 on Saturdays.

    The hospital's emergency department provides healthcare services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with on-duty doctors and emergency medicine specialists.

  • WHAT IS NEEDED FOR HOSPITALIZATION?

    Our goal is for you to get to know your room, settle in, and feel comfortable in the shortest time. On the day of your admission to the hospital, you will be greeted by a hospitalization consultant.

    When coming to the hospital, bring with you:

    ID card, passport, or driver's license

    If your doctor has requested medical tests, X-rays and other examination results, a list of all medications you are taking, etc.

  • YOUR ROOM

    After completing the hospitalization procedures, you will be settled in your room by your consultant/nurse.

    Please do not keep food in the room to maintain infection control. If you do not have a special diet, you can order room service from our cafe. (Internal tel: 1031)

  • TELEPHONE

    You have a personal telephone in your room. Relatives who want to call you can reach you directly on this phone. The phone number of your room is written on the telephone device.

  • TELEVISION

    You can ask the floor attendant for help with using the television. Please keep the television volume at a level that does not disturb the health and peace of other patients.

    You can watch our broadcast about the hospital's departments and treatment of various diseases on Channel 1.

  • SILENCE

    Extra care in maintaining silence will help patients in their recovery process. Please keep your mobile phones turned off or on silent mode during your stay at the hospital to avoid noise and prevent their negative impact on medical equipment.

  • VENTILATION AND AIR CONDITIONING

    Heating and cooling of the hospital rooms is done by a central computer system. Through the air conditioning system, the air in the building can be purified without opening the windows. On the other hand, the temperature of each room can be adjusted to your preference using the control button. Temperature changes take effect within 20 minutes. For temperature adjustment, you can ask for help from the floor consultants.

  • TECHNICAL SERVICE

    The technical service offers its services during working hours for malfunctions that may occur in your room related to equipment such as television, sofa, wardrobe, bed, etc. To use the technical service, simply contact your nurse.

  • PATIENT COMMUNICATION OFFICER

    The Patient Communication Officer works to ensure better medical services for patients. Your opinions and recommendations are of particular importance to us. The Patient Communication Officer will help expedite your recommendations and will take note of your opinions. Please share your opinions and recommendations with us (internal tel: 2029-1053).

  • MEDICAL ROUNDS

    During your stay at the hospital, your attending physician will visit you twice a day, in the morning and evening.

  • NURSING SERVICES

    When you need medical assistance on any matter, please contact the floor nurse.

  • NURSE CALL SYSTEM

    For any need, nurses will be by your side.

    A nurse call system is installed next to your bed and in the bathroom, so that your call can be responded to as quickly as possible. During discharge from the hospital, nurses will inform you about the care that needs to be applied at home. Therefore, please do not leave your room without calling the nurse responsible for you.

  • FLOOR AND ROOM CLEANING SERVICES

    Your room and surrounding area will be cleaned every day on a regular basis.

  • FOOD

    Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served under the supervision of a dietitian and by catering staff.

    Meal times:

    Breakfast: 06:30 to 07:30

    Lunch: 12:00 to 13:00

    Dinner: 17:00 to 18:00

    Please do not bring outside food and drinks. To protect your health, please do not consume food and drinks from outside.

  • PRAYER ROOM

    We care about your needs and those of your loved ones regarding religious, cultural, and spiritual rituals.

  • MEDICAL SERVICE PAYMENTS

    Patient consultants have information regarding the prices of medical services at our hospital. Please make sure you have correctly understood what is included in the prices beforehand.

    For longer hospitalization periods or additional medical services not included in the quoted price, additional payment may be required, which will be paid by the patient upon discharge from the hospital (internal tel: 2029-1053).

  • COMPANION

    Considering your health and the health of other patients in the hospital, only 1 companion is allowed per patient.

    Our hospital also offers meals for the companion - breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

  • VISITING HOURS

    Visiting hours are every day from 09:00 to 23:00. In exceptional situations (such as intensive care), you can contact the attending doctor or nurse. In some departments, visiting hours may differ. In such cases, the consultant will provide you with the necessary information (Internal tel: 1020).

  • YOUR HEALTH AND SAFETY

    Your safety is as important to us as your health.

    Your personal awareness of your treatment plan and active participation in the treatment will help you leave the hospital faster and more safely.

  • YOUR MEDICATIONS

    Inform your doctor and nurse about all types of medications you use and have brought with you when admitted to the hospital and hand them over.

    For your safety, the medications you take must be confirmed by a doctor and pharmacist.

    These medications include pills prescribed with or without a prescription (such as aspirin or cough syrup), vitamins, and dietary supplements.

    If you know you have an allergic reaction to food and/or medications, report this to your doctor and nurse. It is very important to know which medications you use and what you use them for. For this reason, we ask you to track the medications you use during your stay at the hospital.

  • PARTICIPATION IN THE TREATMENT AND CARE PLAN

    Your personal participation in the treatment process is very important so that you know what is being done and why. For this reason, talk to your attending doctor and nurse about the treatment and care plan.

    Make sure you understand the treatment; do not hesitate to ask if you do not understand something.

    If you are scheduled for a procedure, request information from your attending doctor about the operation.

    If you are in pain, consult the nurse and doctor.

  • HAND WASHING AND INFECTION PREVENTION

    Proper hand washing is the most important prerequisite for preventing infections. For this reason, sinks are installed in all patient care areas and hospital rooms where hands can be washed.

    • Wash your hands before and after using the toilet
    • After touching dirty objects
    • Before and after eating
    • Before and after touching a bandaged area
    • Before entering and after leaving the patient's room, wash your hands for 15 seconds with soap and water.
    • Healthcare personnel are required to wash their hands before performing a procedure on you. If needed, do not hesitate to remind them.

    If the patient has a probe, catheter, bandage, etc. on their body, try to keep them dry and clean. If redness, pain, discharge, moisture, or damage to the bandage appears in these areas, be sure to inform the nurse or doctor.

    Depending on the type of infection, wearing a mask, gloves, and gown may be required to protect other patients and working staff. Visitor access to these patients may be restricted.

    Regarding such situations, the doctor and nurse will inform you about the precautionary measures that need to be taken.

  • LOST AND/OR FOUND ITEMS

    Security officers are located at the entrance/exit doors and at the emergency department. If there is a lost and/or found item, you can contact the security officer.

  • SECURITY

    The security services offered by the hospital operate around the clock (24 hours) to ensure your peace and comfort. Security officers on duty at designated locations in the hospital prevent unauthorized persons from accessing the floors where patients are. Their duty is to ensure compliance with visiting hours, prevent inappropriate behavior in the hospital, and ensure the peace of patients and hospital staff (Internal tel: 2027).

  • PARKING SERVICE

    While you are our patient, you, your family, or companion can use the hospital's parking service free of charge. You can park briefly in front of the main entrance and emergency department doors when admitting or discharging patients.

  • AMBULANCE

    Our ambulances are available 24 hours and you can access them by calling (0282) 653 51 51.

    If you wish to use an ambulance upon discharge from the hospital, please contact the officer handling your discharge procedure.

  • EMERGENCY PLAN

    Emergency exit stairs are available on both sides of our hospital. Emergency exits are indicated by signs along the hospital corridors.

  • SERVICE EVALUATION SURVEY

    You can submit your suggestions, opinions, and needs through the service evaluation surveys found on each floor. You can place these forms in the survey boxes or hand them to the Patient Communication Officer (Internal tel: 2029).
