At Corlu Vatan Private Hospital, the surgical intervention on our 75-year-old patient, who was diagnosed with a 12-centimeter tumor of the left kidney, was successfully performed.
The patient was admitted with complaints of pain in the left side of the abdomen, general fatigue, and weakness. After a series of examinations by specialists from several departments and additional imaging and laboratory investigations, the presence of a 12-centimeter tumor in the patient left kidney was identified. The patient case was taken over by Assoc. Prof. Dr. M. Murat RIFAIOGLU – Specialist in Urology. After several days of hospitalized treatment, during which stabilization of the patient condition was achieved, a laparoscopic surgical intervention was performed for the removal of the existing tumor formation, without the need for complete removal of the left kidney.
After three days of postoperative monitoring, the patient was discharged from the hospital in stable condition with a prognosis for full recovery.
