The patient was referred to our hospital from another medical facility, and upon his arrival, detailed radiological investigations were performed, which identified a fracture of the second cervical vertebra (C2), which is important for the movement and stability of the neck.
After careful evaluation of his condition, Dr. Oguz YOZEL performed an anterior odontoid fracture fixation, which restored the stability of the spine. The operation was completed successfully, and just four days later the patient was discharged in good and stable general condition.
