Mrs. Adevie Hasanova Alieva from Razgrad, Republic of Bulgaria, contacted our International Patient Department and shared her complaints. The patient had been suffering for a long time from pain and burning after eating in the esophagus and upper stomach area, a feeling of pressure in the chest area, and other symptoms. After the conversations, the patient was invited to our hospital for examination and detailed tests.
After her arrival at our hospital, Mrs. Alieva case was taken over by Dr. Mustafa Yonder DOLAP - General Surgery Specialist. After listening to the patient complaints, a detailed physical examination, tests and fibrogastroscopy were performed. As a result of these examinations, the presence of Hiatal Hernia was established. Our patient was informed in detail about the diagnosis and the necessary surgical treatment.
With Mrs. Alieva consent, hospitalization proceeded and the necessary preoperative preparation was completed within the same day. The next day, the patient underwent surgery: Laparoscopic Fundoplication for Hiatal Hernia. After the successful surgery, our patient was monitored for two days in our surgical ward and was then discharged in good general condition without pain or complaints.
Two months after her discharge, Mrs. Alieva visited us for a follow-up examination and expressed her sincere gratitude to Dr. Mustafa Yonder DOLAP and the entire hospital team for the care and assistance provided. We also thank her for trusting us and choosing us for her treatment.
