With Brain Tumor Removal Surgery, Mr. Stoykov Held on to Life Even Tighter...

The Stoykovi family from the city of Varna came to the international department of Corlu Vatan Private Hospital. Miss Krasimira Stoykova, the daughter of Mr. Stoykov, shared with us her father recently developed situation.

Mr. Ivan Stoykov, 54 years old, experienced a sudden crisis accompanied by complaints such as severe headache, confusion, memory loss, and impaired balance. The patient was hospitalized on an emergency basis and based on the initial examination and investigations was referred to a Neurosurgery specialist.
The next day, the patient arrived at our hospital. Mr. Stoykov case was taken over by Dr. Oguz Yozel – Specialist in Neurosurgery with extensive experience in the field of brain tumor treatment.

After a detailed physical examination and radiological investigations including contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging, the presence of a tumor mass in the brain was identified. The patient was recommended an emergency surgical intervention for the removal of the tumor mass. The patient and his family were informed in detail about the situation and with their consent, the process of hospitalization and preoperative preparation began. The surgical intervention was successfully performed the following day.

In order to monitor his condition, Mr. Stoykov was under observation for approximately one hour in the intensive care unit, after which he was taken to his room. That same day, just a few hours after the surgical intervention, the patient was mobilized and encouraged to walk in the presence of Dr. Oguz Yozel. After five days of uneventful hospitalization, Mr. Stoykov was discharged from our hospital in good general condition.

Upon his discharge, our patient shared his gratitude to Dr. Oguz Yozel, the international patients department, and the entire hospital staff. We also sincerely thank him for his trust in us.

We wish Mr. Stoykov a long life filled with much health and happiness.
